GMLT MISSION AND VALUES STATEMENT
The Greater Manchester Learning Trust (GMLT) has been established to ensure that all students, regardless of social or academic context, have access to an outstanding educational experience.
The Greater Manchester Learning Trust is built around the student and staff inspired core values of:
Community: “nurturing a community which works together providing mutual support and understanding”
Creativity: “having the confidence to imagine, explore and express ideas without fear or judgment”
Achievement: “fulfilling our individual and collective potential”
and all levels of leadership within GMLT will embrace these values for all decision making as they strive to continually improve the academic and social outcomes for all students.
GMLT schools will provide a learning experience that will inspire and embed a passion for learning. They will develop students to have resilience, independence and the ability to work collaboratively with tolerance and respect, celebrating the diversity within our society. All students will acquire a secure belief that they have the potential to make a positive difference to their life and to the lives of others, as altruistic and successful citizens and future leaders.
All staff and governors within GMLT schools will ensure that educational outcomes and social development are strong due to a united an unwavering commitment that no student will experience barriers to learning, nor a ceiling on their potential.
GMLT staff and governors will endeavour to develop educational and business partnerships that enrich the curriculum, enhancing the students learning experience.
The learning environment of GMLT schools will ensure that all students are safe, happy, inspired, supported and challenged, and where all students believe in themselves, achieve their academic and social aspirations and are able to secure their future in education, training and the workplace.
Ultimately, each staff member and governor within GMLT will fulfil their privileged duty of safeguarding and educating the students within their care as they would with their own children, demanding the highest quality educational experience for all.
