IMPORTANT DATES

There are a number of key dates for you to be aware of in the coming months:

Welcome Meeting: Wednesday 26th April 2017
This event is for Y6 students and their Parents/ and carers. There will be a talk in the Main Hall at 6.30p.m. Ahead of this, there will be a drop-in session running in the Sixth Form Common Room between 5.15p.m. and 6.15p.m. for any parents/carers who would like individual support with any aspect of the Transition process. Our Family Liaison Officer Jo Mannion and our Administration Team will be on hand to help.
So that we are able to accommodate everybody safely, we would ask that only students and their parents/carers attend this event; unfortunately, due to Fire Regulations, we do not have capacity for siblings and additional family members to attend.

Deadline for return of all paperwork: Tuesday 2nd May 2017
Please ensure all data forms are complete and submitted to the School Office for this date. Please ensure that your child has also completed the “All About Me” form so that we can endeavour to place them in a Tutor group with one of their friends.

Transition Days: Thursday 6th July and Friday 7th July 2017
Your child’s Primary School will inform you which date they will attend Transition Day. Your child will wear their normal Primary School uniform and should bring a pair of trainers and dinner money or a packed lunch. If your child is entitled to Free School Meals lunch will be provided for them; please indicate this on your data forms.

Transition Evening: Tuesday 11th July, 6.00-8.00p.m.
A final event for Y6 students and their Parents/ and carers where they will have the opportunity to meet their Form Tutor and other students within their Tutor group. There will also be an address from the Head Teacher and Director of Learning alongside a tour of the school.
Again, so that we are able to accommodate everybody safely, we would ask that only students and their parents/carers attend this event; unfortunately, due to Fire Regulations, we do not have capacity for siblings and additional family members to attend.
