Travel

If you're aged 11 to 16 you need an igo pass to pay the concessionary fare on buses in Greater Manchester.

Some children can get a free pass to travel to school on the bus, train or tram in Greater Manchester. Some children at secondary school can get a cycle voucher to put towards the cost of a new bike instead of a pass.

Parrs Wood Food Technology Department run Active Parent sessions on a Wednesday morning for parents to cook with their children.

Free 4 weeek practical parenting course run by Parrs Wood.

What’s it about? The course is designed to help make the transition from childhood to adolescence as smooth as possible for both the young person and the parent. It aims to enhance the knowledge, skills and confidence of parents/carers.
