School Holiday Sports Club
Finding affordable childcare over the school holidays can be a challenge. At Parrs Wood we offer a school holiday sports activities scheme for children aged 5 - 12 Mon- Fri throughout the holiday periods.
We run 2 different activities depending on the age of your child:
Mini Games for 6 - 7 year olds.
Multi Sports for 8 - 12 year olds.
The scheme's are designed to get children more active and involved in sport. Dance and gymnastics are also included within the scheduled activities, the children also make some new friends along the way.
parental iNformation:
We accept Childcare Vouchers from several providers.
Discounted rates for families and low income earners.
All children are to bring drinks, packed lunch and suitable clothing and footwear.
Certificates are awarded to all participants.
All qualified professional coaches are used with full DBS clearance.
If you are interested and want to sign your child up to one of our sports scheme's or to find out more information then please email our Sports Centre Manager Dave Letven at d.letven@parrswood.manchester.sch.uk to check for availability. Limited places are available and they do get booked up quick.
